Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely flat.
We really enjoyed our trip to London and coming home to Elsham Road
was a delight after a long day of touring. It was a great location
and I was able to go jogging in Holland Park almost daily. Your new
bathroom was really pretty. The Mobile Phones came in handy for both
Jim and me as the children went out on their own.
We cannot wait to
be back again.

London is a vibrant, exciting city and without exaggeration
it may be called the center of the modern world. However, if the place
one chose to stay in is not up to your
expectations and riddled with problems minor or major, it can be hell.
During our vacation, my wife, daughter and I were
very fortunate to be guests of the Risbergs. We rented the place via
the Internet and while we saw the photos of the flat, we couldn't
know what it was really like until we got there. Nor could we know
what attention we were likely to get from our hosts, as this was the
first time we rented an apartment.
In retrospect, I would like to state that everything
was over and above our expectations, both from the apartment and from
the personal friendly concern for our needs. We shall never stay again
in a hotel in London.

Our family visit to London was made extra-special
because we rented your wonderful flat on St. Stephens Garden. The
accommodations were top-notch, the location was brilliant, the local
restaurants, shopping and facilities were beyond compare and we thoroughly
had a great, relaxing time (even with the 9am-9pm sightseeing schedule
I established). Having a computer in the apartment made it very easy
to keep in touch with the real world.
When I have occasion to return to London, I hope
you will have this (or other) flats available for me to rent. It is
so much better than a cold, heartless hotel. Your pre-arrangements
and book of activities was most helpful and saved us a great deal
of time.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Risberg
The trip to London was just fabulous, the children
enjoyed the activities and the helpful mail you had sent was great
in planning the trip.
The computer and internet was a blessing at night
for the kids apart from some small connection problems with BT it
worked well. The renovated bathroom was great too although you may
wish to install a grab bar in the bath tub as it may a bit difficult
to get in and out of.
Thank you again, we will be back next year for Thanksgiving

I wish to thank you for all the help you provided
in making the special trip with my mother in London so great. From
the moment I first sent my request I felt you cared, and it showed
in the service and the flat itself on Elsham Road.
Your kitchen was just great and while the washer
worked well, I had to use the manual to operate it. The neighbourhood
was quiet and tranquil just like you had said, we had a lovely time
and wish to come back again.

We are now back after more than a month in Europe
and look back with good memories to our stay in your flat. Apart from
the dishwasher going on strike which you promptly had serviced, we
enjoyed the apartment.
You were right, not having to take the Tube at night
with three children was a blessing, so we ate out down on Russell
Gardens. The fish & chips down the street was great. We shopped
at Safeway by Shepherd's Bush Tube rather than Tesco which was a further
walk. Although the selection was not as big, it served us well.
Please consider installing another reading light
in the second bedroom, but thank you for the cozy atmosphere that
the dozen colorful candles created in the fireplace.

Dear Liz
The trip was exactly what Tom and I needed and seeing
London again after 15 years was strange and brought back so many memories.
Your restaurant pick was so right on and we went twice for dinner
to Sarastro restaurant as you had suggested. Seeing Coram Boy was
a delight, thank you for your recommendation.
We had to use the emergency phone number you provided
us as the heating went on strike. BT came and had it done the next
day.
Your new luxury kitchen was very pretty and functional
but please consider adding a small bin. Although we mostly went out
for dinner I did manage to make roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.

Dear Liz & Carl
Reality has set in and the daily grind of Chicago
commuting makes me wish I was back in London already.
The apartment was just as you said it would be, the
keys you had sent in advance came in handy as our flight departed
5 hours late from Chicago so we only arrived after midnight. How thoughtful
to have a bottle of red wine and some nice English cheese in the fridge
for us, thank you.
Mark did rent the car as you had suggested at Hertz
and did park at Tesco, seeing ourselves the "clamping' they do
for infractions. In fact we managed to see both Winchester Cathedral
and Stonehenge the same day, the lunch in Salisbury was just perfect
in the 500 year old Pub, you may wish to become a Travel writer.
We will be back again when we can find the time.

Dear Liz
Having the family meet on St Stephens Gardens coming
from Hawaii and Vancouver was a project I have worked had to achieve
and it worked out so well. The grandchildren had their own bathroom
and bedroom, John and I were able to use our own.
The internet was a blessing at night for the kids,
and your tastefully decorated apartment with fireplace made for a
lovely stay. The Garden Square was quiet like you had said and we
enjoyed our stay.
